How do I take UrgentRx?

Simply tear open the UrgentRx packet at one of the two tear notches on either side and place the powder on your tongue.  It is ideal to pour the medicine as far back in your mouth as possible, and to not inhale through your mouth while pouring.  If preferable, mix or follow with water, soda or juice.  Repeat every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 4 powders in any 24-hour period.

Do I need to take UrgentRx with a liquid?

No, you do not need liquid to consume the product, although it is recommended, if available.  Drinking a liquid after consuming UrgentRx helps with absorption.  If you do not have water available, UrgentRx will still be effective and absorbed into body.

Are UrgentRx packets waterproof?

Yes, UrgentRx packets are waterproof and hermetically-sealed to block out moisture.

Does UrgentRx fit in my wallet?

Yes, UrgentRx is specifically designed with this unique, Patent-Pending portability in mind.  To make the packet the size of a credit card, simply tear off or fold over the very top portion of the packet.  Be careful to tear at the top perforation and not where the packet says “Tear Here” as this is intended to open the pouch to access the medication within.  It is easiest to look at the perforated line on the back of the packet to see where the removable top perforation is located.

What if the UrgentRx packet gets cold or hot?

Extreme temperatures, either hot or cold, could reduce the active life of the product.  We recommend storing the product between 68 – 77 degrees F.

How quickly does UrgentRx start to work?

UrgentRx is specifically formulated as a powder.  Powders dissolve faster than tablets or pills and get to work fast.  Exact time will vary.  Each individual is different and each dosing occasion may be different (i.e., full stomach, empty stomach, etc.).

How long will UrgentRx last in my wallet?

All UrgentRx products have an expiration date stamped onto the seal.  UrgentRx medications may be kept in your wallet and safely consumed until this date.

Will the medication within the UrgentRx packet be damaged if I sit on it in my wallet?

What are the UrgentRx products used for?

UrgentRx Headache Relief can be used for temporary relief of minor aches and pain due to headaches, arthritis, colds and fever. UrgentRx Ache & Pain Relief can be used for the temporary relief of minor body aches and pains.

UrgentRx Aspirin can be used for the relief of minor aches and pain.  Evidence shows that aspirin can reduce the risk of death if taken as directed by a physician as soon as a heart attack is suspected.  The FDA has approved aspirin to reduce the risk of death when aspirin is administered during a suspected heart attack and continued under a doctor’s direction for 30 days thereafter. Studies show that the risk of death in this case may be reduced by up to 23%.  Aspirin that contains caffeine (a pain relief aid) has not been studied for its effectiveness in treating a suspected heart attack.  We do not recommend using products containing aspirin plus caffeine for cardiovascular use.

What are the benefits of aspirin?

Aspirin helps with two main issues…

Pain:  Aspirin reduces the production of prostaglandins, which are produced in tissues throughout the body. Prostaglandins are part of the body’s system involved in feeling fever, swelling, rashes and other types of pain. Since aspirin lowers the amount of prostaglandins, it can help alleviate such conditions.

Blood Clots:  Blood clots are caused by an accumulation of platelets.  Platelets release a prostaglandin called thromboxane. Aspirin’s ability to block prostaglandins inhibits this accumulation of thromboxane, reducing the tendency for blood to clot. Aspirin should not be used if you are on prescription blood thinners unless directed by a doctor.  Always check with your doctor before taking aspirin or any other drug.
